Wisteria Place Newsletter February 2021

Posted on February 3rd, 2021
Kung Hei Fat Choy!

Happy Chinese New Year, everyone! It is February 2021 already. It’s the year of the Ox, known for positive characteristics such as being hardworking and honest.

You will experience both of these attributes when connecting with Wisteria Place, where our honest, caring, and dedicated team are putting in lots of great effort to get set up for our first residents. A special Lion Dance team will dance at Wisteria Place in a COVID-friendly ceremony bringing good luck, fortune, health, and longevity to our community. Lucky us!

In January, we enjoyed a great degree of productivity. With our community, we looked at vibrant ways to embrace 2021 in our Zoom Coffee Chat, and we prepared some final details before assigning suites and helping future residents review and decide on their preferences.

Please join us for Seniors' Zoom Fitness with Lynn Walters in February. See details in this newsletter or on our website.

Our team is growing, and we have a new General Manager starting in February. Stay tuned for details and to prepare for Wisteria Place’s opening in June.

February 11th - Coffee Chat Double Header: "Ain't Love Sweet?" and Chinese New Year

Topic One: "Ain't Love Sweet?"
This day can be for anyone: single or in a relationship. Like the old love song says, "Ain’t Love Sweet?"

We invite you to send in or call us to share a sweet or unique love story and/or picture that we can share at our February 11th Coffee Chat. Secret Admirer? Pets that love us to bits? A date to remember? A friend who lovingly made your day? Tell us your story; after all, they say love makes the world go 'round.

Topic Two: Happy Chinese New Year
2021 is the Year of the Ox, a year when hard work will get rewarded. In Steveston, we’ve been working hard on Wisteria Place, and we are excited to welcome our residents this spring. Join us for a conversation when we will commemorate the new year and watch a Lion Dance video together. Kung Hei Fat Choy!
