This new year, let’s remember to have
fun and participate in leisure
activities! It’s important for seniors
to maintain physical health, cognitive
function, and emotional well-being.
Here are three ways seniors can plan
to play.
Discover a variety of fun events at
Wisteria Place, including crafts, bingo,
meditation, fitness, and movie nights.
With something for everyone, come join
our vibrant community and experience the
joy of participating.
We couldn't have been more honoured to
have the Mayor of Richmond visit us! He
joined us for Christmas Eve, and even
surprised us by playing piano! We had a
wonderful time together.
Baking together is always a
treat, especially when it is for
the holidays! We love creating
delicious foods together that we
can share with our neighbours.
Hanukkah Dinner
Hanukkah at Wisteria Place was
great! We had a great kosher
dinner complete with some
resident favourites. Chag
Hanukkah Sameach!
Christmas Dinner
Our Christmas dinner was a
beautiful time together
celebrating our community and
loved ones. A ham carving
station and a visit from Santa
made this event so special.
Toy Drive
Richmond Care held a toy drive
in December for kids in the
city. Our residents donated many
gifts and helped contribute to
bringing joy to others this
holiday season.
